Plumbing Repair:

Video Inspection:
Video inspection is a new and cost-effective way of determining the condition and exact location of a main sewer line. We send the camera down the pipe and it videos its journey to the city sewer. From this we can tell if a pipe has any low spots, root intrusions, fractures or broken spots which could restrict flow. If problems are discovered, a locator can be used to find where the spot is and how deep underground the pipe is. This information is important when making spot repairs. Recently, new home owners have been using this technology to inspect sewer lines in their prospective homes.
Bio Clean Treatment:
Power Rooter is dedicated to keeping lines clean, not cleaning them over and over again. We have a full line of products designed to keep lines open and free of obstructions. Bio Clean is used to treat and reduce buildup on pipes. This powerful enzyme and bacteria formula attacks anything organic (hair, soap, food debris) and breaks it down, so it can be flushed out of the pipe. Root Killer Treatment:
Roots grow into sewer pipes through the pipe connections. In older homes with mature landscaping and clay tile sewer pipe, root growth can become a problem. This root growth can be very damaging to sewer systems. The roots force the pipes apart, which leads to slips, dips and eventually pipe colapse. To combat this, Power Rooter can apply a root killing foam to your sewer line that will kill the roots coming in and leave a coating of herbacide on the pipe to help repell future root growth. This type of treatment is not toxic to the tree or the enviroment which also makes it septic safe.
Excavation:
Water line and main sewer service replacement is a last resort. However, when it does need to be done, Power Rooter prides itself on being able to provide these services in a fast and cost effective manner.
